To work in Papua New Guinea through Central Queensland Site Services you must:-
- Posses a Bachelors Degree or other tertiary qualification relevant to your field of employment. An applicant who does not hold tertiary qualification must be able to provide detailed proof that he is highly-skilled in the field of employment such as trade certificates and other certifications.
- Demonstrate appropriate work experience of at least 3 to 5 years. This should be supported by certificates of employment or certificates of service or any other document to prove that you have worked with a legitimate employer. These references will be further checked and verified by Central Queensland Site Services.
- Not be under the age of 22 as it is assumed that applicants of this age are not suitably qualified, skilled or experienced enough to take on the job. There is no upper age limit for Papua New Guinea however, employers may set a standard upper age limit for applicants.
- Have good English communication skills. Applicants from the countries listed below need not submit evidence of English Language Proficiency:

Applicants from all other countries must be able to provide evidence of proficiency in English:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Certificate with a score of at least Band 4 in the General or Academic Module
- Certificate from a recognised English Language Instruction Institution which confirms that the applicant is proficient in English
- Completed at least 5 years of secondary education at a school or schools that taught in English
- Completed a 3 year tertiary qualification that was taught in English
- You must be physically fit as required by the Papua New Guinea Immigration and Citizenship Service
- You must have a passport valid for at least another 12 months.
If you have the qualifications that Central Queensland Site Services requires you must:-
- Prepare a CV in MS word format
- Your CV must include a recent colour full face photograph of yourself
- Your CV must include your complete employment details for the past 5 years– date started and date ended with your employer, your job description and an explanation of your duties, responsibilities and achievements
- Your CV must provide details of your education - High School, Technical College OR University and any other form for schooling you have attended in relation to your trade
- Your CV must list all training seminars, product training and any additional training that you have been given since you finished your schooling.
