The Mackay Caterpillar Dealer has positions vacant for Heavy Equipment Field Service Fitters for Drive In Drive Out (DIDO) work in the Bowen Basin, Queensland, Australia

The position involves working in the field on some of the largest mining equipment Caterpillar supply and offers excellent employment opportunities, with an excellent team environment, world class systems in place and a proactive management team that is firmly committed to training apprentices, trainees and the ongoing training and continuous improvement.

Successful heavy equipment fitters will be working on D 11 R and T, 783, 789, 793 and 797 haul trucks and other associated large mining equipment.

These jobs are direct for the Caterpillar Main Dealer, you will not be working for a contractor or in a labour hire role, CQS Services is the recruitment company, CQS Services will not be your employer you would work direct for the Caterpillar Main Dealer.

Items covered by Central Queensland Site Services include:-

Salary package, conditions, allowances, overtime and roster details are in accordance with the employers national employment agreement and will be discussed in detail at time of interview, at the time of writing of this the salary was roughly twice the pay rate of a UK and a USA heavy equipment fitter (dependant on exchange rate).
