Caterpillar trained and experienced engine specialists required for Caterpillar Engine Rebuild Centre in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia.

One of the world’s leading engine rebuild centres compliant with 5 Star Caterpillar Contamination Control, the Rockhampton Engine Rebuild Centre operates two shifts a day and currently rebuilds around 450 engines a year, with plans to expand operations and increase the number of engine rebuilds to around 1000 engines per year.

Working on the full range of Caterpillar Engines including 3500, 3400 and 3300 series CAT Engines and also the CAT C Series Engines the rebuild centre has two dyno facilities with one being able to handle up to 7000 horsepower and the other being able to handle up to 2500 horsepower to fully test every engine before a customer takes delivery.

These jobs are direct for the Caterpillar Main Dealer, you will not be working for a contractor or in a labour hire role, CQS Services is the recruitment company, CQS Services will not be your employer you would work direct for the Caterpillar Main Dealer.

This is a world class opportunity to work for a CAT Main Dealer in Australia with the option of Permanent Australian Residency after a qualifying period.

Items covered by Central Queensland Site Services include:-

• All of your Visa Nomination and Application Charges
• Flight to Australia and if you decide not to accept Permanent Australian Residency, a return flight home at the end of your visa or contract period paid by CQS Services.
• Any recruitment fees and charges will be paid by CQS Services.
• Integration services including meeting at airport, assistance with accommodation and transportation to workshop, help with setting up Australian bank account, assistance with obtaining Australian Drivers lic and local orientation and cultural awareness will be provided at no cost to successful candidates.

Salary package, conditions, allowances, overtime and roster details are in accordance with the employers national employment agreement and will be discussed in detail at time of interview, at the time of writing of this the salary was roughly twice the pay rate of a UK and a USA heavy equipment fitter (dependant on exchange rate).
