The Mackay Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) specialises in Caterpillar powertrain components for Earthmoving, Mining and Construction machinery, primarily for transmissions, final drives, differentials and torque converters.

These jobs are direct for the Caterpillar Main Dealer, you will not be working for a contractor or in a labour hire role, CQS Services is the recruitment company, CQS Services will not be your employer you would work direct for the Caterpillar Main Dealer.

This is a world class opportunity to work for a CAT Main Dealer in Australia with the option of Permanent Australian Residency after a qualifying period.

Items covered by Central Queensland Site Services include:-

• All of your Visa Nomination and Application Charges
• Flight to Australia and if you decide not to accept Permanent Australian Residency, a return flight home at the end of your visa or contract period paid by CQS Services.
• Any recruitment fees and charges will be paid by CQS Services.
• Integration services including meeting at airport, assistance with accommodation and transportation to workshop, help with setting up Australian bank account, assistance with obtaining Australian Drivers lic and local orientation and cultural awareness will be provided at no cost to successful candidates.

Salary package, conditions, allowances, overtime and roster details are in accordance with the employers national employment agreement and will be discussed in detail at time of interview, at the time of writing of this the salary was roughly twice the pay rate of a UK and a USA heavy equipment fitter (dependant on exchange rate).

To apply to work as a Caterpillar Fitter / Caterpillar Technician in the component rebuild centre in Mackay, Queensland, Australia you MUST have worked for a Caterpillar Dealer for a minimum of a 5 year period during the last 10 years and you must have undergone training and have qualified as a heavy equipment fitter or a diesel mechanic or a plant fitter or an engine technician or a Caterpillar Engineer – please do not apply for this position if you have not worked for a CAT Dealer for at least 5 years.
