Queensland's mining projects are full steam ahead
It has been quoted that “Queensland rivers are flowing with Gold again” after the announcements of the changes to the much debated “new mining tax’. It is with a sigh of relief that major new mining projects are back on the cards for the Queensland mining industry. With this news it also means the mining companies are still in need of highly skilled workers to keep these projects running on time.
Many mining companies in Australia had put a hold on their projects until the mining tax issue had been solved. With the outcome of the new agreement seen to be a happy compromise with all involved, it will ensure that the mining industry continues to grow through investment in the industry which is of benefit to all Australians and its workers.
