Central Queensland Site Services

Central Queensland Site Services was founded with the purpose of easing the world wide skilled shortages and the problems associated with the recruitment of Highly Skilled Heavy Equipment Fitters.
Why was Central Queensland Site Services started?

The owners of Central Queensland Site Services having previously owned and managed contracting, labour hire, recruitment consultants, fabrication and welding companies in the UK and in Australia experienced the very same everyday difficulties employers and recruitment companies face when recruiting skilled English speaking overseas workers.
Having recruited and skills tested workers in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the UK, the Philippines, India and China previously with overseas recruitment companies based in those countries, it quickly highlighted the need for a third party to integrity check the whole recruitment process, because when we were recruiting for our own internal requirements, we found that for whatever reason, things did not go as promised by the foreign agent at that time.
After surveying various industries and different types of companies it was apparent that many companies faced the same issues when recruiting skilled English speaking workers from overseas.
“The creation of Central Queensland Site Services has allowed us to remove problems associated with overseas recruitment and where not possible to remove, control the problems associated with overseas recruitment.”
How is Central Queensland Site Services different?
The first thing Central Queensland Site Services did was to establish facilities in Asia to test not only the actual skills of the overseas workers applying for positions under our own guidelines and our own supervision but also to allow us to have direct contact with the previous employers and education facilities at which these overseas workers gained their skills and experience.

Caterpillar 793’s on the move in Queensland, Australia
If you are going to recruit workers for Australia or recruit workers for New Zealand, Canada, the UK or the USA it is vital that the person who is having the direct contact with the prospective employees has real world knowledge of working under the conditions faced in those countries.
If you are recruiting CAT trained fitters for Australia then you had better make sure your overseas recruiter knows the difference between using ET on a CAT 797 and ET on a push bike asking to go home, or if you are recruiting a front end pipeline welding crew you had better make sure your overseas recruiter knows and understands dual-head has nothing to do with inbreeding and everything to do with higher production rates.
Has your overseas recruiter had hands on experience of working in +50 degrees temperatures in the Petro Chemical industry in Australia?

Has your overseas recruiter had hands on experience of working in -25 degrees and below feeling the wrath of The North Sea winds?

Has your overseas recruiter experienced year round living in Nova Scotia, Canada?
The owners and managers of Central Queensland Site Services have real world, hands on experience in many different industries and in many different parts of the world. Benefit from the difference that Central Queensland Site Services has to offer.
“Remember – Asking someone to walk you through a tranny teardown has a different meaning in Cebu, Philippines than it does in Mackay, Queensland, Australia”

Central Queensland Site Services established an office in Asia four years ago and has a staff of 24.
We have fulltime Australian and English managers, a fulltime Australian Qualified Welding Supervisor qualified to Australian Standard AS1796 Certificate Number 10, an Internationally Qualified Welding Inspector qualified under the UK based Certification Scheme for Personnel (CSWIP) and employ an Australian Trained Workplace Health and Safety Officer.

It would never have been possible to build this without the use of overseas recruitment, experts from all around the world were recruited, do you need expert help?
